Engineered, designed and developed business software and operating procedures for a client with a manufacturing office in California and sales office in Oregon. Designed and developed business web sites (i.e. Heritage Picture Frames). Engineered, designed and developed a custom lift mechanism for pulpits used by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This lift uses a unique safety switch to prevent damage to the lift by mis-use as well as eliminating annual maintence programs, reducing operating costs and improving functionality. | ||

Responsible for phone systems (including installation of voice over IP), cells phones, all computers (desktops, laptops, and servers), security, remote access, and web development. Reduced IT expenses by $15,000 annually while improving equipment, services, and communications. Managed operations personnel in Denver, CO and Salt Lake City, UT offices. |

Engineered, designed and developed ALL aspects of two complete product lines of computerized mat cutting machines (CMC) using pneumatics, mechanical actuators, electronic sensors, motion controllers, stepper and servo motors. One product line, called the MatWRITER, was a 3-axis CNC router. The other product line, called the Eclipse, was a 2-1/2 axis CNC knife blade. Created and set-up national distributor network. Worked trade shows. Installed equipment, serviced equipment, and trained customers worldwide. Managed all sub-contractor and supplier relations including price negotiation and buying. Managed a crew of technical support and assembly personnel, a Mechanical Engineer, and a Software Engineer. (Now owned by Wizard International.) |
